Ev.olve Magazine
Project Overview
Evangelische Hochschule Freiburg is a university rooted in social work, diakonia, and education — shaping conversations that matter. To extend its impact beyond the classroom, the faculty envisioned ev.olve, a biannual magazine that speaks in a voice that’s modern, structured, and sincere.
The design blends tradition with contemporary clarity: bold pink meets black and white, a six-column grid ensures rhythm, and black-and-white photography ties diverse voices into a cohesive whole.
My Role
I translated the university’s brand into an editorial format that feels thoughtful, human, and fresh. From typographic hierarchy to structural layout, every choice was made to give important ideas space to breathe. I designed a magazine that makes complex topics not only accessible but beautifully legible — a publication that invites reading, reflection, and response.
